The Turbosmart Upgraded Wastegate Actuators have been engineered to maximize boost response for factory frame turbochargers. The IWG75 Series features an enhanced 'Working Ratio,' surpassing the performance of the stock equipment and providing superior boost response across the entire RPM range.

This improvement in working ratio is achieved by increasing the diaphragm’s effective surface area and making revisions to the actuator’s springs. These modifications allow for greater leverage against the forces the actuator works with (boost and backpressure), while maintaining exceptional responsiveness. With the same base pressure as the factory actuator, you can expect a broader boost and torque curve, with peak boost achieved earlier and sustained into higher RPM. For even greater performance, higher base pressures can further enhance these benefits, though tuning and recalibration may be necessary.
